Mill Creek Sports is thrilled to welcome Hall of Famer Julius “Dr. J” Erving for a special in-store autograph signing on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 6:30 PM (Pacific). Meet one of basketball’s all-time greats, get a certified autograph, take a professional photo, or submit your items by mail for signing.

Premium surcharge: +$150 on 1972 Topps or 1980 Topps (Bird/Magic/Dr. J) cards — total autograph price $349.

How to Participate

  1. Purchase ticket(s): Autograph, Photo Op, and optional Inscription.
  2. If mailing or dropping off, items must arrive by Monday, October 13.
  3. Include your order number inside every package or with drop-off items.
  4. Photo Ops begin first. Guests with both Photo & Autograph tickets will move to the autograph line immediately after their photo.
Will-Call: Tickets are held inside our store and available for pickup starting two hours before the event.
Order confirmation emails or receipts are not valid tickets. Physical tickets are required for autographs and photo ops.

Signing Schedule

Ticket Pickup: Will-Call opens two hours before the event. You must pick up physical tickets to participate.
  1. Photo Ops Begin First — All posed photos are taken before any autographs (up to five people per photo).
  2. Autograph Signing Follows — Starts immediately after photo ops conclude. Customers with both Photo & Autograph tickets proceed to the autograph line after their photo.
  3. Event Duration — Expect about one hour, but please allow extra time for crowd size.
Quick Tips: Have items unboxed and ready to sign. Keep tickets out for scanning at the front of the line. Professional signing pens are provided (you may bring your own if you prefer a specific color).

  • Professional signing pens are provided; bring your own only if you prefer a specific color.
  • Autograph-only attendees may arrive at the posted start time.
  • Photo Ops occur first; combined Photo + Autograph ticket holders go to the autograph line immediately after their photo.
  • Each autograph ticket = one signature. Multiple items require multiple autograph tickets.
  • Placement requests honored when feasible; final placement is at Dr. J’s discretion.
Mail-In & Pre-Order (Non-Attendees)
  • Ship or drop off items to arrive by Monday, October 13.
  • Include your order number inside each package.
  • Return options: pick up in-store, include a prepaid label, or purchase a label during checkout.
  • Items begin shipping back 2–3 business days after the signing.
  • Pre-order items from Mill Creek Sports will be signed at the event and shipped after authentication (if selected).

Beckett witnessed option

Beckett Authentication is available on site for $8 per item. Each item receives a witnessed, tamper-evident hologram and online registration.
